Heartslabyul (ハーツラビュル寮, Hātsurabyuru Ryō) is the first dormitory in Twisted Wonderland.
It has five (notable) members: Riddle Rosehearts, Ace Trappola, Deuce Spade, Trey Clover, and Cater Diamond.
Heartslabyul was founded on the severity (厳格 genkaku) of the Queen of Hearts, and is inspired by the world of Alice in Wonderland.

Heartslabyul is known for its long list of rules that its students are expected to abide by.
Should they break even one, it will result in their beheading by the housewarden.







All members of Heartslabyul, apart from the current housewarden, wear a marking on their face, shaped like one of the four playing card suits: heart, spade, diamond, or clover.

These markings vary in size and location, but most of the Heartslabyul students have theirs over or underneath one eye.
The students also appear to be assigned a specific playing card to represent them, whose suit corresponds to the marking on their face.

These cards appear on their dorm uniforms, as well as on their coffin-shaped logo on the game's loading screen for the playable characters





It is Heartslabyul tradition to uphold the rules of the Queen of Hearts. There are 810 of them in total.

Ever since Riddle became the housewarden, there have been no cases of any Heartslabyul students dropping out or repeating grades.
As a result, the dorm's rooms are always at full capacity.

The most relevant rule is Rule 89: "Never eat a tart without the Queen's permission."

This is because of the Heartslabyul's lore revolving around Ace Trappola's mistake.
As well as being the Queen of Heart's iconic rule.




Frustrated with people not to following the 810 rules of his dorm properly, Riddle Rosehearts takes the form of the Queen of Hearts, and overblots.

Overblot is a form taken by those who overuse their magic and let their negative emotions "blot" their magic wands.



The picture above is Riddle's wand getting overtaken by the overblot form.

Their aura and appearance is mostly dark. Moreover, an entity appears alongside them, having a stitched-together body and head of glass leaking ink.

Riddle is the first housewarden to take on this powerful form.








This manifestation is called "Phantom"
and only by its destruction can the magical contractor (the Mage) be freed from his Overblot,
if it didn't happen the mage would lose his life leaving behind only a monster driven by hunger and negative emotions. Although Blot has been studied throughout history and a rare event, there is no known method to cure it.
For those who are aware of the Blot is known that it's something toxic to the body and mind when it reaches certain levels,
that it clears easily if an individual eats, sleeps and rests well by refraining from using magic.
Each individual has his tolerance to the blot and caution is advised when using strong magic, as the accumulation rate is proportional to the power used.
